Sliding patio doors and French doors present a heat-gain challenge that standard screens don't address. A large patio door facing west can contribute enormous heat gain to a room in El Paso afternoon sun. We custom-fabricate oversized screens specifically for door applications, they operate correctly with the door and don't compromise egress. Patio screen options include standard solar screen material in door-appropriate frames, as well as retractable screen systems for applications where you want the screen to disappear when not in use. For fixed screen applications, we fabricate door screens that match your window screens for a consistent look. We also build screens for sliding glass doors that include a handle and security bar option so the screen stays shut when you want it to.
